Life And Dating

Sorry guys, I’ve not been online for more than a month now. There is a good explanation for this; you know I told you I’ll be doing some job hunting or training that could lead to a job. Well, this past few weeks was for training on Production Assistant in Media and Entertainment. It wasn’t fun in the beginning but at the end, it was worth it. Not sure I’ve ever been committed to anything like I was with that class. You see, I’ve been unemployed for a year now and I told myself whatever it is I get myself involved in, I would put my 100% (guys, I wish I could do that for this blog but your girl has to put food on the table. Sadly this blog is not doing that just yet)...and I did. Well, sort of since we were shared into groups and didn’t have a say on which group we (well, I didn’t get a chance to pick a group, I was just fixed in one) want to be in.

It was the first semester of my final year,i was preparing for my exams and living with my boyfriend - it wasn't  a wise choice.  Sometimes, we (my boyfriend and I)  would study together, other times I'd go for night class and study there. I got used to my boyfriend not making me a priority, keeping late nights, being too friendly with his female neighbors and probably cheating that I was just not interested anymore. We were just living like roommates...

Before I discovered blogging, I enjoyed writing - whether it's my thoughts, my idea of a song, a story or movie synopsis. I knew about websites but had no idea how it works; I would search Google for news (well mostly celeb gossip or anything entertainment) and it gives me different sites to check information).

  Hate is a strong word and can only be used in this situation. Just sitting at home doing nothing can be very annoying (at least I have my blog to keep me busy but I also need money for data and stuff…so it’s still annoying). Anyways I would like to mention nine reasons (there are more reasons) I hate being jobless and I’m sure most of you can relate;

At Sixteen, I was done with secondary school, preparing to write my jamb. I fantasized about being a singer and I would tell my friends to join me so we could form a group like Destiny's child. I also enjoyed writing my feelings and tried writing songs as well even though I didn't know what's was doing.

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!!! This post should have come early considering this is a Life and Dating blog but better late than ever right? And to my catholic folks, I welcome you to the season of Lent.   Before now, Nigerians made all sorts of memes talking about the fact that Valentine fell on not just Lenten season but Champions League where popular team ,Real Madrid Vs PSG anf Chelsea Vs Barcelona will be playing., telling ladies this day was not just favorable for them ‘us’.

On the second month of my IT, I lost my dad…it was the most horrifying time of my life. I had never lost anyone that close to me before, so it was tough. My boyfriend attended the funeral in my village and somehow we became close again; I shared a lot of things with him and he could also relate with it. I didn’t want to go home immediately so I followed him back to school after the funeral. He took care of me during that period, I felt numb, something in me changed.
